❋ Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park

A lush pocket of rainforest above Yalong Bay, this park rewards the climb with panoramic views over the coastline and a glass skywalk suspended high above the treetops. It's equal parts nature reserve and adrenaline moment. Not for the faint-hearted, but unforgettable for the view alone.

❋ Approx. 3 hours
❋ Binglanggu – Li & Miao Cultural Heritage Park

Set among betel-nut palms and traditional stilt houses, Binglanggu brings Hainan's indigenous Li and Miao cultures to life through weaving and tattoo museums, boat-shaped village houses, and live performances of traditional song, dance, and craft. It's one of the few places on the island where centuries-old customs are shown first-hand rather than in a museum case.

❋ Approx. 6-7 hours
❋ ANanshan Temple (Guanyin Statue)

Home to one of the tallest statues of Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Mercy, in the world, Nanshan Temple is one of Hainan's most significant Buddhist sites. Set against sea and mountain views, the grounds invite slow, contemplative walking.

❋ Approx. 6-7 hours

❋ Luhuitou Park - Hilltop, central Sanya

Perched on a hilltop above the city, Luhuitou Park frames sweeping views over Sanya, its bays, and the surrounding hills — especially striking at sunset. The name comes from a local legend of a deer that turned to look back before transforming into a young woman, retold in statues throughout the park.

❋ Approx. 3 hours after 6pm (Night Lights)
